Bio Farm Experience
Located in the heart of the Biosphere Reserve of Fuerteventura, Verdeaurora Bio Farm is a space dedicated to agrotourism where you can enjoy an experience that suits you.
Around 30 hectares where organic agriculture, rural accommodation and ecotourism activities are combined. Verdeaurora Bio Farm is dedicated to the ecological cultivation of aloe vera, olive and traditional vegetables and fruits, all under the ecological certification of the CRAE.
The environment has a natural wealth that has motivated its declaration by Unesco in 2009 as a Biosphere Reserve and in 2015 as a StarLight Reserve. In addition, the farm is located between the protected natural landscapes of “Malpaís Grande” and “Cuchillos de Vigán” and between two zones ZEPA (Special Protection Area for Birds) declared by the European Union.

Activities Bio Farm
It is a proposal where quality prevails, a novel experience guided by experts of the territory, where all the details are taken care of.
You will be able to experience the operation of the Verdeaurora Bio Farm in first person, making a tour through all our facilities and knowing all its intricacies.
You will enjoy a walk around the farm with explanations of each of the crops that surround us: aloe vera, olive trees, fruit trees … You will have the opportunity to learn how to harvest aloe vera, learn about the old farming systems based on rainwater harvesting, discover the different ways of cultivating that we do on the farm and much more.
You will know all the secrets of our olive plantation in organic farming, as well as its treatment to extract the 100% ecological olive oil, visiting our “almazara” (machine used for the extraction of Extra Virgin Olive Oil by the first pressure method in cold).
At the end you will participate in an olive oil tasting where we will show you the properties and characteristics of all our products.
Schedule Bio Farm
Bio Farm Experience will take place on our farm (location: Tenicosquey, 7. Antigua, Fuerteventura) from Monday to Saturday. The duration of the route is 1 hour. The schedule of the experience may be made between:
10.00 am and 2 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturdays.
On Fridays the schedule of the experience will be from 14.00 pm.
* Those visitors who come by bus will have to get off at the Tenicosquey stop (not in Jandía).
Price Bio Farm
The price of this experience is 10 € for adults and 5 € for children (under 12 years old). There is no minimum number of people to carry out the experience.

Fuerteventura has been declared by Unesco as a Starlight Reserve, with the aim of guaranteeing the conservation of one of the most beautiful skies on the planet. Every night after the sunset, the sky of Fuerteventura becomes a real spectacle. Millions of bright stars, the long and marked Milky Way, planets surrounded by strange satellites, shooting stars that cross the firmament and mythological constellations are just some of the beauties that shows the sky that crowns the farm of Verdeaurora Bio Farm. This place is one of the best places on the island for observing the night sky, due to the low light pollution, low cloudiness and tranquility of the place. A journey through the stars that you cannot miss.

The astronomy and stargazing workshop will take place on Fridays from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in winter and from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. in summer.
It lasts 1.5 hours and will be held at Verdeaurora Bio Farm located in Tenicosquey 7. Antigua, Fuerteventura.
The price of this experience is € 25 for adults and € 15 for children. A minimum group of 5 people is necessary to carry out the workshop.
If you want an exclusive individual workshop, it costs € 125. For this service it is necessary to contact 3 days in advance.
The astronomy and star observation workshop will be taught in Spanish, English and Italian.
