The itinerary in detail

1

We welcome you with an introduction to Fuerteventura’s agricultural history and explain key elements of the traditional landscape, such as the gavias.

4

You will meet the animals that live at Verdeaurora, most of them rescued or sheltered, and you will have the opportunity to feed the Majorero donkeys — an endemic species that is part of the island’s cultural heritage.

3

We will walk through the permaculture garden, exploring the tropical fruit forest, and then stop at the aloe vera plantation — one of the most emblematic plants of the Canary Islands.

5

Discover how to cut and handle an aloe vera leaf, take home your own aloe plant, and enjoy a tapa made with products from the farm. If you wish, you can extend the experience with a more complete tasting of local and organic flavours.

6

The visit ends with a moment of relaxation in the natural surroundings of the farm. You can take photos, go for a walk, meet the animals again, or visit the shop, where you’ll find organic products made at Verdeaurora.
