Stargazing in Fuerteventura

Enjoy an evening in our corner of the Starlight Reserve accompanied by local guides and expert astronomers with stargazing equipment you won’t find anywhere else in the Canary Islands.

Experience first-hand an authentic local experience by enjoying stargazing along with different activities.

• Explanation of the family history of the farm and the environment in which we are (which allows us to explain the volcanic origin of the island in addition to being a Special Protection Area for Birds and to see endemic species of the island during the visit).
• Walk through the farm explaining the different crops (we will show you how to harvest Aloe Vera, we will talk about the olive trees, the typical fruit trees of the island such as fig trees, pomegranate trees, mulberry trees or palm trees); We will make a nod to the agricultural past of the island talking about the gavias (you can not understand the landscape and ethnography of the island if we do not know what are the gavias, the cadenas or the nateros) and the mills (both the Chicago and the one used to make gofio); you will have the opportunity to see our almazara (machine we use to extract the olive oil) and at harvest time collect olives and see how we work.
• We will carry out an olive oil tasting, according to availability, in which we will explain the properties of this product to the customer.
• Aloe vera workshop in which the client will learn how to manipulate the Aloe leaf and will make his own pure Aloe cream. This activity takes place in an environment around a Permaculture garden with palm leaf roofs.
• Buffet-style tapas of local and farm products such as tomatoes with oil; papas arrugadas con mojo; majorero cheese with farm jams; gofio.
  Drinks included: Water and/or a glass of white wine from the Canary Islands.

Stargazing in Fuerteventura

Stargazing, accompanied by local experts who will provide the necessary material and knowledge to enjoy it. According to the time of the year we are in, we will be able to see some objects or others.
